FINALLY TRUMP TO MEET WITH BUHARI

U . S. President Donald Trump will host President Muhammadu Buhari on April 30 , the White House announced on Sunday evening .
The White House in a statement said Buhari would meet Trump at Washington to discuss issues including “ fighting terrorism ” and economic growth.
“ President Trump looks forward to discussing ways to enhance our strategic partnership and advance our shared priorities :
“ Promoting economic growth and reforms , fighting terrorism and other threats to peace and security, and building on Nigeria ’ s role as a democratic leader in the region .
“ The relationship of the United States with Nigeria is deep and strong , and Nigeria ’ s economic growth, security, and leadership in Africa will advance our mutual prosperity, ” the statement read in part .
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Buhari was the first African leader Trump called on the phone following his inauguration as the U . S. president .
Diplomatic experts said Buhari , being the first African leader called by Trump , only reaffirmed Nigeria ’ s strategic position in Africa .
NAN also recalls that former U . S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson also visited Nigeria in February in a first five -country African tour embarked upon by an official of the administration .

Cyber hacker defrauds car dealer of N28m

A hacker , Michael Williams, 28 , has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly defrauding a car dealer , Abiogun Adewale , of N28 m . He was said to have paid the sum for a Porsche car through a fake electronic transfer. The suspect , who was arrested in the Lekki area of Lagos , was paraded at the command headquarters , Ikeja , on Monday by the state Commissioner of Police , Edgal Imohimi. OKOROCHA IGNORS FIRST IMO APC STAKEHOLDERS MEETING IN OWERRI

The Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha , is missing at the ongoing first Imo All Progressives Congress stakeholders’ meeting in Owerri , the state capital . The meeting, which has in attendance the APC national organising secretary , Senator Osita Izunaso, senators Benjamin Uwajumogu , Ifeanyi Araraume , and Okorocha’ s deputy governor Eze Madumere , is being presided over by the state chairman , Hillary Eke. Educational News: student shot dead within the university of calabar Nigeria

Within the academic environment of the prestigious university of calabar Nigeria, a tragedy took place. It all started on the 15th of the month of march 2018, a cult group who's identity is yet to be ascertained at the point of reporting carried out sporadic attacks on a rival group within the campus which lead to the death of a student.
